Conversations about money can feel just as vulnerable as conversations about mental health. My goal is to make the financial side of therapy as transparent and straightforward as possible so you can make an informed decision without surprises.

Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients have out-of-network benefits that may reimburse a portion of the cost of therapy.
To help make therapy more affordable, I partner with Thrizer, a service that helps eligible clients use their out-of-network benefits without having to submit reimbursement claims themselves. Depending on your insurance plan, you may receive reimbursement for a portion of your session fee.
If you’re unsure whether you have out-of-network benefits, we can discuss your options during your consultation.
Sliding Scale
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available based on financial need. Sliding scale rates are determined by household size and annual household income. If cost is a concern, you’re welcome to bring it up during your consultation so we can discuss available options.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of services before treatment begins.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
For more information about your rights under the No Surprises Act, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
Late Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are subject to a $75 cancellation fee.
Still have questions?
If you’re unsure whether therapy is the right fit—or you’d like help understanding your insurance or out-of-network benefits—I’d be happy to discuss your options during a consultation.
